Skills Development and Training Programme

Consortium want to ensure that all LGBT+ Organisations have access to skills development and training so that they can drive their organisations forward. Thanks to funding from the Government Equalities Office we will be delivering a Skills Development and Training Programme for all LGBT+ Groups and Organisations. 

This free Programme will offer a range of conferences, masterclasses, action groups, online tool kits, online resources and 1:1 support to ensure that all LGBT+ Organisations can make lasting change and make the most impact with their resources.

LGBT+ Groups and Organisations operating across the country can access the Programme, you don't have to be a Member of Consortium and you don't have to have a grant from the LGBT+ Futures Fund. 

Organisations can select to receive support and skills development in one or more of the following areas:  

Organisational Development

  • Good Governance
  • Successful Strategies
  • Financial Accountability
  • Income Diversification & Fundraising

Skills Development

  • Monitoring and Impact Measurement
  • Making a Good Case and Developing your Organisations Influence
  • Growing your Organisation
  • Diversifying your Audience

The Programme will be delivered by Consortium and a range of partners from across the Sector inluding: Biphoria, Stonwall, The Proud Trust, Traverse, UK Pride Organisations Network and Yorkshire MESMAC. 

There will also be specialist support for Bi Groups, Prides and groups working with young LGBT people find out more by getting in touch with one of our Engagement Team here
