Membership Form
This is our new membership form for LGBT voluntary and community organisations to complete, to ensure that our records of membership are accurate and up-to-date.
All members will be asked to complete this form (or variations thereof) on an annual basis as a requirement for membership. Those organisations not wishing to remain members; or those that do not complete and return the form, will be removed from our members listing and our membership directory of organisations. Membership application is currently free and open to any voluntary/community sector project, group or organisation that provides services, support or other activities specifically to the LGBT community, on the proviso that they meet the following conditions.
Have a commitment to the aims of the Consortium (which are):
associating voluntary organisations, governmental, public and private bodies to develop and maximise the effectiveness of voluntary organisations run by and for lesbians, gay men, bisexual and transgendered people promoting good practice within member organisations |

The final part of membership eligibility is the submission of any relevant documents that we may ask you for. This could include (if you have them) a copy of your constitution or governing document, publicity about your organisation or a service leaflet about what you provide.
The information asked for in this form will not be used for any other purposes than to give an overall baseline position of LGBT voluntary and community sector – its size, access to support, the services provided (and/or available); and the type of financial support given to the sector as a whole. We need this information to ensure that we can contact you with relevant news, resources or invitations to events. We also need to be able to present such information to policy makers at the local, regional and national level to support the funding needs for all LGBT voluntary and community groups throughout the UK. We would ask that a senior person in your group or organisation complete this form. This may be your Chair or Director; or it could be someone that has a good overall knowledge of your group, project or organisation and has the time to complete your membership details.
Individuals and organisations that do not meet the criteria above may wish to join the Consortium as Supporters. Please contact us for further information.
