File 474Emotional health & wellbeing is an issue for everyone, however for many LGBT people there can oftens be times in our lives when our emotional health & wellbeing suffers, having a significant impact on our physical health.

File 473The 2010 LGBT Health summit is about finding out what some of these issues might be as well as celebrating positive aspects of LGBT health. It is about getting a holistic view of LGBT health and understanding the links between different health issues and – ultimately – helping LGBT people live healthier and happier lives.

The LGBT Health Summit 2010 is a free event and this year will focus on how emotional health can impact on physical health and vice versa. The LGBT Health Summit want to hear from as many people as possible from all across the UK sharing their ideas on how they can work together to improve services for LGBT people. They especially want to hear from LGBT people themselves who are interested in getting involved in the event, whether behind the scenes or up on stage!

Although the conference is free, they are planning some evening entertainment on the first day with a cost attached but they will try to keep the costs down as much as possible to ensure you have a great experience and will release more details about this shortly as they start to finalise the programme.

The summit will take place in Hatfield, Hertfordshire and there is also the option to book lower cost accommodation when booking direct. Alternatively they can provide any details needed on local accommodation.
