ALBA

We started meeting in Dec 2018 with an aim to bring emotional and practical support for LBT asylum seeking women in Birmingham and the surrounding areas. We meet monthly in a support group and also plan to go to local free and cheap community events with our members.

We hope that both the support group and having a social outlet will help improve the mental health and decrease the isolation of our members. We collect toiletries, and also secondhand, good quality, household goods and clothing to share with our members.
