The B U Foundation

We are dedicated to provide opportunities for all people to live a better life. Our donations are given to all in need, without regard to their race, religion, sexuality or background. We strive to create a better world, and we thank all of you for helping us to achieve that.

Established in 2017, The B U Foundation are a LGBT Charity providing peer support services to people in Burnley and Pendle.

B U Foundation are focusing on reaching more people understanding their individual circumstances and supporting them into services and activities in the community, acting as a gateway for the community to access advice and support by community cohesion with local charities, groups, commissioning boards, police and council authorities.

Our objectives are to raise awareness of the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) people, to advocate for their needs to the wider community and to promote opportunities to LGBT people in the area to enable them to fully participate in the lives of their community.

We believe in a fair and equal society where all LGBT people can achieve their full potential. We are passionate about the work we do with LGBT communities and we want to be as inclusive as possible to ensure LGBT voices are heard and their needs are met.

The foundation aims to provide information and support not just on the common LGBT issues raised, but also issues that are not talked about within the community. We wish to empower and encourage people to be who they are regardless of sexual orientation, gender, race or disability the foundation believes everyone is equal.
