Darlington ARQ is a community based organisation offering positive mental health and wellbeing for all. Everyone can access Darlington Arq.

We offer counselling & mentoring; awareness training and secondary wellbeing services to anyone who needs them.

All of our services are provided by qualified, fully insured and DBS checked workers who will welcome you to a designated safe space that has a zero tolerance approach to discrimination and hatred of any kind.

Our services are:

Counselling
Counselling is a confidential helping activity whereby through the use of active listening you  are empowered to help yourself, face your issues and develop strategies for coping with them.

Peer Support
Providing a designated safe space; a place where you can talk openly about your sexuality, gender expression, gender identity and indeed any aspect of LGBT+ lifestyle. Peer Support can also take place as part of organised groups.

LGBT Awareness Education
High quality LGBT+ awareness education around LGBT+ culture and life; written by our service users and clients available to anyone.

Come along to talk about your experiences or just hang out with other LGBT people like you in a safe and accepting space.

Ran by our counselling staff and support volunteers, we take part in a wide range of activities, designed to support and enrich our inclusive members.
