Enlighten UK

Enlighten UK is a charitable project that aims to provide workshops in various settings to open up minds of people who may have a perceived ideas of different social groups.

It's saddening to hear that suicide rates in teenagers across the UK is at an all time high. 22% of these were due to bullying. We look to educate participants on topics such as sexuality, gender and religion. We can provide workshops in a range of settings.

We use real life stories, poems or anything you see fit to educate young people. The monologues we currently use include topics such as, coming out, embarrassing sexual encounters, suicide, abuse and sometimes people like to write their thoughts out, whatever they may be.

We're looking to expand our resource of stories and if anyone would like to send us one over please feel free to email: hearme@enlightenuk.org

All stories remain anonymous unless request by the contributor.
