Our core purpose is to develop the capacity of the local LGBT community and to influence those organisations and services which affect the quality of life of its members. Birmingham LGBT seeks to reinvigorate the city's diverse lesbian, gay and bisexual communities through community engagement, advocacy and lobbying. we prioritise the promotion and development of services in birmingham which meet the needs of gay men and lesbians who are younger, older and/or from black and asian backgrounds. |

Coalition on Sexual Orientation
(Company Num prefixed NI062312) CoSO aspires to represent the LGBT Community on issues around sexual orientation. CoSO acts as an umbrella body with which public authorities may consult in order to fulfil their statutory duty to promote equal opportunities irrespective of sexual orientation. It will seek to ensure that the concerns of the entire LGBT Community are adequately articulated and acted upon. CoSO strives to be sensitive to the diversity within the LGBT Community and to redress any subsequent inequality within the LGBT Community. |

The equity partnership supports bradford's lesbian, gay and bisexual communities in many ways. we play an active role in developing our lgb communities by supporting existing groups and helping new ones to start through our community development work. we run the bi-monthly groups forum, where groups and individuals come together to network and discuss issues. |
