The Southwark LGBT Forum (formally known as Southwark Anti-Homophobic Forum) is the longest established lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) forums of its kind. the forum works to meet the needs of the LGBT community in key areas, including: education, safety in the home, the streets and housing. the forum was established in 1995 and acts as an advisory body to the council and its various departments, the police and other relevant agencies on matters concerning lgbt hate crime.
