T-house
T-House primary focus is:
To improve the quality of life for Trans people specifically B&E (Black & Ethnic) To be steadfast in our resolve to improve the quality of life for Black Trans people. We strive to empower, encourage self-respect, heighten self-awareness, instill confidence and raise self-esteem.
Objectives:
To provide a support group to share concerns, enable intensive discussion and activity
how we run
T-House is a governing group
A weekly meeting aimed at B&E Trans people or Trans questioning Enabling a safe space to meet, share experiences and explore different coping strategies. As a group we plan regular outings within the community. T-House empowers and builds self-esteem equipping Trans people with the skill to remove barriers to enable a healthy transition.
B&E Trans people have a place to be themselves, a place to form positive relationships free from unhealthy contracts (imposed ideals and/or discrimination). Being part of and belonging to a community preparing for engagement within the wider community with their true gender role.
