W.a.a.s.p (women against anti-social persecution) is the voice for the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and trans-gender community (lgbt), their families and friends . they promote equality and eliminate discrimination against the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and trans-gender community by offering support, advancing education and raising awareness of issues affecting them. they further charitable purposes for the benefit of the socially and economically disadvantaged lgbt communities living or working in the borough of walsall or surrounding area. women who have suffered the same discrimination, social and economic problems that you may be experiencing now, have created w.a.a.s.p, a support group to help you and give you a voice. drawing on their own experiences and the experiences of others they can offer a friendly, informal environment where you can discuss issues affecting you with people who have experienced similar problems. these services are available to all residents of walsall and discretion is assured.
