Getting to Know Ourselves - Inter Generational Story Telling

Monday, February 20, 2017 - 19:00 to 21:00

Irish LGBT People in London from the mid-20th Century.

The first public event of our 'Getting To Know Ourselves Project' takes place at Gay's The Word Bookshop on Monday 20th February 2017 from 7pm - 9pm.

It will be a chance to listen to the recorded interviews from London Irish LGBT Network's 'Getting To Know Ourselves Project' which is collecting stories of Irish people in London who were born in each of the decades since the 1930s. The event will combine listening with chatting about the themes raised across the generations and the future direction of the project (due to be completed before the end of 2017).
