Sexuality aGender v2 - An Inclusive Sexual Health Toolkit

Friday, December 7, 2018 - 10:00 to 16:00

Sexuality aGender v2 is a brand new, pioneering resource pack. It is NOT a sexual health package for LGBT+ young people, it is an inclusive pack for ALL young people.

The Proud Trust has an extensive history of working with LGBT+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, plus other related identities) young people. Over the years, these LGBT+ young people have consistently told us that the sexual health information they have received in mainstream education has not been meeting their needs, for a variety of reasons.

Sexuality aGender v2 will enable you to engage with young people in a meaningful conversation about gender identity, sexuality and sexual health. This will in turn help them explore who they are and what they want, in a safe, supported way, free from assumptions.

Delegates will receive a Sexuality aGender v2 toolkit (cost without training £25) to take away and deliver in their settings. The toolkit contains four planned and resourced sessions on the following topics:

  1. Exploring a Range of Identities
  2. The Sexual Body
  3. What Is Your Normal?
  4. The Dice Game

Cost just £30* per delegate.

*Rainbow Flag Award member schools enter your discount cobde at the point of booking. This course will give you the skills and resources to better meet the standards in the green Inclusive Curriculum and blue Pastoral Support sections.
