Trans Health Matters Conference 2017

Tuesday, October 17, 2017 - 09:00 to 17:00

cliniQ's 4th international conference, will have a strong rights and equalities focus and will look at specific health needs and issues surrounding trans and non-binary people’s inclusion in the planning and delivery of health, public health, and social care services, with a view to reducing barriers to services and moving towards an inclusive approach to trans health matters.

There will be a focus on intergenerational and culturally appropriate trans health inclusive of the particular issues of BAME trans people. We will explore PrEP for trans and non-binary people, holistic wellbeing, sexual health and HIV prevention and care, as well as the impact of transphobia on physical and mental wellbeing.
