Trans Sector: Shared Vision

The Consortium is currently working with a number of trans groups and organisations to support the creation of a shared trans sector vision.
The groups and organisations involved so far have suggested structuring a number of wishes into 3 categories:
- areas that the government could take forward relatively soon
- areas that the sector and communities can take forward with less government support
- areas that don't fit well in the above categories and will remain longer term aspirations for now
This first category is very useful to make available to the Government Equalities Office (GEO), as they are currently working on a cross Government Trans Action Plan, which is due for publication at the end of 2011. This is why the GEO will be attending this event.
The day will run from 10:00am to 5:00pm, the agenda of the day can be downloaded below.
