The Marriage (same sex) bill’s remaining stages will be debated next week in the Hosue of Commons. The bill is due to have its report stage and third reading on Monday and Tuesday and if it is approved on 21 May, it will then pass to the Lords for further scrutiny.

LGBT Consortium Members - Allsorts are delighted to announce that their pilot trans children and youth project will be expanding in 2013 thanks to new funding from Comic Relief and Children in Need. They have been awarded a total of £130,000 over three years to fund a trans children and young people’s team of three workers.
The Devotion Project is a series of award-winning short documentary films bringing together six lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer (LGBTQ) couples to explore their experience of love, commitment and family.
From 22 April 2013, Members registered to receive Gift Aid can now sign up to make repayment claims electronically.
HMRC has said that the new service called Charities Online has been introduced in response to customer feedback. It will make repayment claims faster and easier by filing online. The current R68(i) print and post repayment form will be replaced by three options for making claims.

It was the first major event of its kind to celebrate LGBT youth identity and community, with ‘Togetherness’ being the theme of the day.
