Bi Visibility Day 2014

Tuesday, September 23, 2014 - 09:00

Today, here at Consortium, we salute all of our Members who work tirelessly to make sure that the B in LGBT isn’t just another letter.

All over the world today people are celebrating Bivisibility Day and using it as an opportunity to make sure that the issues that affect bi people and communities are recognised.

Bisexual people face discrimination from all sides, flip over to Pink News and read about how we face discrimination in the workplace, click over to LGF to read some case studies about young Bi people’s experience.

Remember though, that its not just about one day -  there are groups that work tirelessly all year round to make sure that bisexual issues are on everyone’s agenda, from health to hate crime, discrimination to positive media portrayal - check out just a few of our Members that work specifically with Bi communities.

Events are happening all over the UK click here and here find out more.
