Calander draws attention to LGBT rights...

Tuesday, December 10, 2013 - 11:30

On International Human Rights day we thought it would be appropriate to let you all know about a great project from a third year Graphic Design student, Mandy Baker.

Mandy produced a fabulous 2014 calendar based around raising awareness of LGBT rights around the world. Mandy has been telling us why she decided to create this calendar and what it means to her for in 2014, that whilst we have come so far we know that in so many parts of the globe homosexuality is still a criminal offense. Mandy says she wants to raise awareness of the LGBT community and how much change still needs to be done, and to challenge any negative attitudes. The Calendar is a not for profit project and the expresses clear information. Mandy told us that she ''wanted to tap into truth and challenge opinions, but most importantly, inspire change''

The calendar is a not for profit project there are printing terms and conditions available on Mandy's website - so for more information on the calendar or to find out how to get hold of them for yourself please visit www.mbarkerdesign.co.uk
