ELOP Launch new Barking and Dagenham LGBT+ Community Survey

Friday, January 5, 2018 - 11:30

Do you identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans (LGBT+)?

Do you live, work or study in the borough of Barking and Dagenham?

Take part in ELOP's new survey and share your experiences to help shape future services and support in the borough.

ELOP, East London’s holistic LGBT+ charity, are keen to find out more about LGBT+ people in the borough. A survey has been created which aims to give everyone the chance to share their experiences.

Your responses will make a difference.

The survey is a series of questions designed to help form a picture of life in Barking and Dagenham and will help to influence how local services are designed and delivered to be inclusive and meet the needs of LGBT+ people.

The survey offers lots of opportunity for respondents to rate any services that you have used and to talk about any issues you have encountered.

Your responses will be completely anonymous.

As part of the project to understand local LGBT+ needs, a number of different activities are taking place. ELOP is keen to involve as many LGBT+ people in this as possible. Other ways to take part include:

  • Focus groups are being held later in January - if you are interested in finding out more please email info@elop.org with Focus Group in the subject line.
  • LGBT community mapping events are being held on January 15th with a poetry event hosted by the LGBT Poet Laureate and 1st February LGBT+ history month event. To register for information about these events email info@elop.org with LBBD Events in the subject line or follow ELOP on twitter @ELOP_LGBT
