Evolving for the future and for our Members

Thursday, January 17, 2019 - 09:30

The Consortium team are excited to share details of our fresh new look that will come into effect later this month.

We want to recognise the diversity of our communities

Our communities are diverse and evolving. Consortium wants to reflect these developments and ensure we are more inclusive in the way we talk about our communities - both now and in the future. We have therefore shortened our name and shifted our language to LGBT+ in our strapline.

We want to better communicate our professionalism as we serve our Members

We will continue to amplify the voices of our Members. To achieve this we need to look fresh, attractive and inviting to current and future Members, as well as external stakeholders like government and business. We have therefore updated our branding to better position and communicate our work.

Rest assured that the team remains Member-focussed and passionate about creating stronger LGBT+ communities. We feel these changes will enable us to stand strong at the centre of the LGBT+ voluntary and community sectors and recognise the diverse voices within them. Members will always remain at the heart of our work, and helping to create a sustainable future is our focus. We want LGBT+ people in need to have access to the best support possible.
Our new look will launch on Saturday 26th January at our AGM and Annual Conference. We look forward to seeing many of our Members there.
