LGBT History Month 2016

Monday, January 18, 2016 - 16:45

LGBT History Month is celebrated in February in the UK to highlight the challenge to homophobia, biphobia and transphobia throughout the year.

The LGBT History Month UK website houses a wealth of information and a super useful interactive calendar so that you can find out what is going on near you or add your own LGBT related event.

The theme for History Month this year is Religion, Belief and Philosophy and for the second year the festival will be hosted around 6 National Festival Hubs:

London, York, Shrewsbury, Newcastle, Bristol and Manchester

There are too many events to list here, although you can find more about each regional hub on our events pages or get yourself over to the LGBT History Month Community Calendar and explore what’s going on in your area.
