New Survey for Trans and Gender Nonconforming Adults in England

Wednesday, August 24, 2016 - 13:00

Help Gendered Intelligence and Goldsmiths build up a picture of how trans and gender nonconforming adults live in England by taking part in their new quality of life survey.

Quality of life is a useful research concept that helps us to better understand people’s living standards, wellbeing, success and happiness. The study will look at the positive aspects of being transgender or gender nonconforming, as well as the negative.

You are eligible to take part if you are over the age of 18, live in England and identify as transgender and/or gender nonconforming. Transgender and gender nonconforming people feel that the gender they were assigned at birth does not match or sit easily with their sense of self.

It should take you around 20 minutes to complete the survey, but you will be contributing to a valuable study on the lives of trans and gender nonconforming people in England.  Currently research about trans communities is sparse in comparison to other minority groups.
