Boys and Young Men Outreach Worker

The overall aim of the Boys and Young Men Project is to work closely with boys and young men aged 11 to 19 years old in order to facilitate positive changes in behaviour and attitudes about relationships and sex. The project addresses issues including sexual health, healthy relationships, contraception, attitudes to gender and sexuality, consent, communication, domestic violence and fatherhood.

We require a reliable, creative and outgoing man (Section 7(2)(b) and (e) of the Sex Discrimination Act and Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1, Paragraph 1) to support the delivery of the Boys and Young Men Project across Merton and Wandsworth.

This post welcomes applications on an ongoing basis for the delivery of current contracts of work. The role will involve up to approximately 7 hours of work each week across different days and times, so will be suited to somebody who has flexibility in their working hours.
