Paul Roberts: Chief Exec

Paul became Chief Executive for Consortium in April 2013 and has over 16 years’ experience working in the LGBT+ voluntary sector.  Paul leads on the strategic direction of the organisation working with the staff team, board and Members to ensure Consortium stays community focussed and LGBT+ issues are listened to by a range of stakeholders, including Government and the wider voluntary sector.

Paul’s background is within community development and he has a passion for connecting communities together and giving people space to share their collective knowledge and experience.

In his spare time Paul is a bit of a DIY / renovating geek and loves taking a blank canvas of a room and turning it into liveable space, with a hint of craziness thrown in for good measure (and much to the eye rolling of his partner Jack!). He lives in Nottingham where alongside Jack he also has a stubborn Shar Pei dog called Paddy (or Monkey) who keeps him on his toes with his daily mischief!
