Brighton & Hove LGBT Switchboard has been at the heart of the local LGBT community since 1975.

We provide a helpline and web chat service, a trans survivors helpline, and run the LGBTQ Health and Inclusion Project, Older LGBT Project, and an LGBTQ disability group.

Our mission is to listen, support and connect.

Administration volunteers are being recruited to support the operations and development teams.

Duties vary according to operational requirements but will include: data entry, spreadsheet maintenance, helping with mail outs, updating listings and helping to organise meetings.

Basic knowledge of Office programmes is essential.

Helping us run the office will be a massive help in our work supporting older LGBTQ people in the community.

We are currently recruiting for a motivated and skilled Events and Publicity Volunteer to work for their newly created, inclusive adoption service in Brighton. This service opened September 2014 and focuses on the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. The project was funded by the Department for Education to help find more loving families for some of the 4,550 children in care.

Merton LGBT+ is looking for an outgoing enthusiastic person who has drive and ambition to get the tasks done.

You will be required to seek out new venues and create new events in liaison with the Chair for the LGBT + Forum.

You will manage the social diary and calendar for all events working closely with the Social Media Manager to promote the venues and events.
