Live Through This is a new LGBTIQ+ specific service offering support meetings, education and advocacy in the oncological sector.

We work with a number of London hospitals and charities to address the needs of our attendees. In particular we have a close relationship with Kings College Hospital and the South East London Cancer Alliance to represent the views of our community in healthcare forums and influence positive change in policy and practice.

Spectra CIC is seeking volunteer counsellors who are as a minimum on their 2nd year of a BACP/UKCP accredited course, and who have the skills to deliver counselling to LGBTQI+ people.

We need your help. Can you spare one Friday or Saturday night a month to be a Soho Angel?

Volunteers work between 10pm and 5am to help people who are vulnerable or distressed while out at night.

That might mean handing out water, helping people find safe transport home, helping people report crime or being someone to talk to.

Administration volunteers are being recruited to support the operations and development teams.

Duties vary according to operational requirements but will include: data entry, spreadsheet maintenance, helping with mail outs, updating listings and helping to organise meetings.

Basic knowledge of Office programmes is essential.

Helping us run the office will be a massive help in our work supporting older LGBTQ people in the community.
