UKLGIG is the thriving leading national charity supporting the rights and dignity of LGBTI asylum seekers, refugees and migrants. UKLGIG has a small staff and packs a big punch that influences government and international policy relating to the treatment of asylum seekers fleeing persecution due to their sexual or gender identity. UKLGIG also directly support and assist hundreds of LGBTI asylum seekers in the UK every year.
Administration volunteers are being recruited to support the operations and development teams.
Duties vary according to operational requirements but will include: data entry, spreadsheet maintenance, helping with mail outs, updating listings and helping to organise meetings.
Basic knowledge of Office programmes is essential.
Helping us run the office will be a massive help in our work supporting older LGBTQ people in the community.

We are currently recruiting for a motivated and skilled Events and Publicity Volunteer to work for their newly created, inclusive adoption service in Brighton. This service opened September 2014 and focuses on the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. The project was funded by the Department for Education to help find more loving families for some of the 4,550 children in care.
