LGBT Health and Wellbeing (LGBT Healthy Living Centre) was set up in 2003 to promote the health, wellbeing and equality of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people in Scotland.

It provides support, services and information to improve health and wellbeing, reduce social isolation and stimulate community development and volunteering.

We currently have a vacancy for a part-time volunteer LGBTQ+ Support Worker with our Free2Talk Mentoring Project.

The role is based in a Wandsworth secondary school one day a week providing 1:1 support to young people who are struggling with any issues relating to sexuality & / or gender identity.

Administration volunteers are being recruited to support the operations and development teams.

Duties vary according to operational requirements but will include: data entry, spreadsheet maintenance, helping with mail outs, updating listings and helping to organise meetings.

Basic knowledge of Office programmes is essential.

Helping us run the office will be a massive help in our work supporting older LGBTQ people in the community.

This includes monthly get together, fun days and promotional events. We are currently extending our service to meet the needs of more LGBT parents and their children.
